Boomers and beyond? |
|
What is a BOOMER? Baby boomer is an American-English term to describe a person born between 1946 and 1964[1]. Following World War II, these countries experienced an unusual spike in birth rates, a phenomenon commonly known as the baby boom. The term is iconic and more properly capitalized as Baby Boomers. It is also the theme of the 2008 Boone County Council on Aging Wellness Fair. Striving to reach all seniors, ages 50 and “beyond”, this year we will include information and services to those who are caregiving. We plan to have something for everyone 50 years and older: Be sure to catch the April issue of the GOOD NEWS for Keen Agers for further details. You will NOT want to miss this! Invite others to come with you! See you at the Community Building on May 20, 2008! |
