In addition, the Keen Age Center has several one-day trips that are held yearly.
Chicago Flower & Garden Show in March
We are taken by motor coach to the wonderful colors and smells of spring at this breath taking show. Gain knowledge, ideas, and shop for some fun new products.
Midwest Stitches Convention in August
If you knit, crochet, or just want to see what is new in materials for your latest project, this is for you! We will be visiting the market area where venders from around the world gather on our exhibit floor to bring you the best in knitting, beading, etc. You will not go home empty handed. There are also book signings, demos, and more to be found. Lunch is on your own. Motor coach and tickets to the convention included in the price of the trip.
White Pines Lunch and a Play

We travel by motor coach through lovely countryside to the White Pines Inn. Before the play, we enjoy a fabulous home cooked buffet meal with three meats, salads, vegetable du jour, homemade mashed potatoes and gravy, fresh baked breads, beverage and dessert. Following lunch, we see a wonderful production. Ticket price includes: Theater ticket, tax and gratuity, and motor coach.
Chicago Holiday Shopping Trip in December
Get some of that Christmas shopping out of the way with the Chicago Magnificent Mile Shopping Trip. We will travel by motor coach to Water Tower Place and Macy's on State with lunch on your own.
Register early for the trips, as seats are limited. Payment is due at registration. Once a trip is filled, a waiting will be made. As a seat becomes available, we will call the names on the waiting list first come first serve.
