Support Groups

The professional staff at the Boone County Council on Aging works closely with individuals and groups to provide support and education to those who have uniqe and often difficult situations. Often times, however, it is helpful to talk to or listen to others who are experiencing the same situations and problems. By sharing common experiences, the members lend support to each other which helps them to feel that they are not alone. Also training and information on topics pertinent to the specific group are presented.
